PENDING MATTERS/ISSUES OF ESM COMMUNITY - SUGGESTIONS/ NEW ISSUES INVITED

1.      The ESM community(ORs/NCOs/JCOs & equivalent ranksof Armed Forces) have unanimuously  decided to take up the pending issues with various fora  i.e. theCentral/State Govts, Press/Electronic Media/Other Similar Orgs/Public Reps etc across the country, since no one had shown interest to solve the urgent/demanding issues/problems faced by ORs/NCOs/JCOs and their equivalent ranks.

2.      All Veteran Brothers are requested to bring up RELEVANT ISSUES, (OLD AND NEW) OF ESM and post at COMMENTS COLUMN below or e-mail prabhjot singh CLICK HERE

3.     Some of the pending issues of ESM are listed below(not comprehensive):-

---- ALL PRE-1.1.96 PENSIONS  BE BROUGHT ON PAR WITH POST 1.1.06.

---- 70% WEIGHTAGE FOR PENSION CALCULATION BE RESTORED W.E.F. 1.1.96

---- GO  OF 1.2.06 ENVISAGING A MINIMUM. PENSION OF 1913, ( 1.5. TIMES INCREASE OF  MIN PENSION OF 1275-V CPC) BE IMPLEMENTED IN ITS TRUE SPIRIT W.E.F. 1.1.96.

---- ALL THE TABLES OF THE CIRCULAR NO.350 BE AMENDED AS PER ABOVE GO 1.2.06

-----FIXED MEDICAL ALLOWANCE BE ENHANCED TO RS.2000/-PM FOR NON CGHS ESM

---- CSD CANTEEN FACILITIES WITHOUT RESTRICTION  AND ON PRODUCTION OF DISCHARGE BOOK OR IDENTITY CARD.( CUMBERSOME STN HQ CARD BE DISPENSED WITH)

---- CSD CANTEEN FACILITES BE PROVIDED IN EACH DISTRICT

---- AT LEAT 5 ARMED FORCES 10+2 SCHOOLS BE OPENED IN EACH DISTRICT

---- AT LEAST 3 ENGINEERING COLLEGES BE SET UP IN EACH STATE

-----AT  LEAST ONE MEDICAL/DENTAL COLLEGE BE SET UP IN EACH STATE/UT

---- SET UP CDA(PENSION CELL) IN EACH STATE/UT HQ AS PCDA(P) IS OVERBURDENED PRESENTLY WITH OVER 30 LAKH ESM PENSIONERS

----  SET UP ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON ESM WELFARE MATTERS TO HON'BLE GOVERNORS/LT GOVERNORS IN EACH STATE/UT ON THE LINES OF PANJAB MODEL

---- SET UP AN ADVISORY BOARD ON ESM WELFARE TO THE HON.'BLE PRESIDENT OF INDIA, WITH REPRESENTATION FROM EACH STATE/UT ON PANJAB MODEL

---- REVISE AND UPGRADE THE GP OF SEPOYS/NAIK AND EQUIVALENTS BY ONE HIGHER GRADE.

---- REVISE AND UPGRADE THE PAY BAND/SCALEE OF HAV AND EQUIVLENTS TO PB-2(FROM PB-1)

---- REVISE AND UPGRADE THE PB OF NB SUB/SUB/SUB MAJ AND EQUIVALENTS TO 4600/4800 AND 5400 RESPECTIVELY IN PB-2

---- GRANT OF HONY RANKS BE DISPENSED WITH

----  INTRODUCE DIRECT PROMOTION OF SUB MAJ AND EQUIVALENTS RANKS(KNOWN AS JCOS) TO THE RANKS OF LIEUTENANTCAPTAIN (PRESIDENT COMMISSION) BY COMMISSIONING AFTER A BRIEF INDUCTION TRAINING IN PB-3 PAY SCALE  AS IS CONFERRED - IAS/IPS CATEGORY  TO CENTRAL/STATE GOVT GROUP B OFFICERS,
IN PB-3 SCALE.

---- ACP ELIGIBILITY PERIOD BE REDUCED TO 5/10/15 YEARS INSTEAD OF THE EXISTING PERIOD OF 8/16/24 YEARS

---- 15 YEARS MINIMUM SERVICE(WITH EXISTING 5 YR WTG) BE FIXED FOR EARNING FULL PENSION SINCE 20 YEARS SERVICE FIXED FOR FULL PENSION OF CIVILIAN .EMPLOYEES W.E.F. 1.1.06.(AND THIS BE APPLIED TO ALL PAST PENSIONERS).

---- ARREARS ARISING OUT OF ALL ABOVE IMPROVEMENTS BE CALCULATED AND PAID  W.E.F.1.1.96 RETROSPECTIVELY AND NOT PREOSPECTIVELY FROM A FUTURE DATE, SINCE THESE ARE ENTITLEMENTS  AND NOT CONCESSIONS.
