RECONCILIATION OF WRONGFUL DEBIT OF AMOUNT/ATM FAILURE : TIME LIMIT PRESCRIBED

         THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL VETERANS:-

 The Reserve Bank of India, have issued guidelines for reconciliation/crediting of amounts on account of
failure of ATM machines(WRONGFUL DEBIT OF AMOUNT), by the concerned banks to the customers, within a timeframe OF 12 DAYS, from the date of receipt of complaint from the customer. Failure to do so by the banks will attract a penality of Rs.100 per day.
