FLASH! FLASH!!-- TODAY'S QUESTION (NO.1745) IN LOK SABHA ON DISCREPANCIES IN ONE RANK ONE PENSION SCHEME - BY HON.MPs, SMT SUSHMA SWARAJ, DR M THAMBIDURAI AND SHRI ARJUN SETHI

     THE FOLLOWING TEXT OF TODAY'S QUESTION, TO HON.DEFENCE MINISTER, FOR WRITTEN ANSWER, BY HON.MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT, IS POSTED BELOW FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL VETERAN BROTHERS:-

A) Whether the Government has fully implemented One Rank One Pension Scheme;

B) If so, whether the personnel of all the three services in various ranks will be equally benefited by the Scheme;

C) Whether some discrepancies in the Scheme have been brought to the notice of the Government;

D) If so, the details thereof including the details of representations received in this regard; and

E) The steps being taken by the Government to remove the discrepancies.

  2. What ever may be, it is an typographical error. But copying the same from here and posting in his blog three hours later as if he has found with his own source. it is a bad practice for the so called gentleman. At least he forgot to mention the source at the bottom of the post.

We all aware that the ex-serviceman can avail 4 wheelers at CSD rates.But practically,In my case,In coimbatore none of the dealers are agreeing to sell the car at CSD rates.One of the reason they are citing is that the delay incurred in getting their money from Regional head quarters (For south ,it is Chennai).How do we take steps to solve this issue ? Ex-servicemen are no way responsible for the delay.It may be due to many other reasons,like too much of centralization (Why not to make State wise roles and powers instead of making one place responsible for 4 states ?) I don't know whether this is the reason.I hope to get some valuable inputs from the veterans.
